Submissions for GOfish5 are now closed

Thank you to all who submitted.

Born in 2008, GOfish is an independent creative arts magazine published in Australia. It's the brainchild of Michael Agzarian and Missy Dempsey who felt that there was a need for a good quality art publication that 's accessible to both the artists and the public. Since it was launched there's been four issues published, each one with different a theme, the first - "student", the second - “women”,  the third - “portraits” and  the forth - "love".

Michael and Missy commission articles, research artists and work with writers to compile a comprehensive publication that can be used as reference and as a resource. Each copy is individually numbered and there's only ever 1000 copies printed. There are no reprints. The theme for the fifth issue is "DREAMS" and will contain more refereed articles and essays.

The theme of GOfish5 is “DREAMS".  We're thrilled to have received over 75 submissions from designers, artists, writers, photographers, illustrators and other creatives for this issue of GOfish.  From its humble origins GOfish continues to focus on bringing together work from regional, national and international artists in one publication. With over 60 pages in full colour GOfish also features the work of one or two artists in an informative article featuring their work, their thoughts and art.

In the next few weeks we'll be notifying all those who've been selected to be part of GOfish5. We will also be outlining details for launch dates and sales of the magazine.
